Long before Auguste Privé existed, Aphra was imagining the spaces she wanted to live in.
From the age of five, she'd spend hours sketching floor plans while her dad patiently explained what she would need to make them stand up. By the age of ten, she had moved on to rearranging her mum's living room, constantly moving furniture, changing layouts, and discovering new ways to transform a room. Not because it needed redesigning, but because she was fascinated by how a space could feel completely different with just a few thoughtful changes.
That fascination never faded.
What began with reimagining rooms eventually evolved into a career spanning the international art world and two decades in the entertainment industry, where visual storytelling, set design, and the power of creating atmosphere became an equally important source of inspiration.
Whether on a film set, a stage, in a collector's home, or within a commercial space, the same belief has always remained true: the spaces we surround ourselves with have the power to shape how we feel, and even the smallest details can transform the way we experience them.
